VW T5 - called 50 SHADES OF SILVER**please read full description**It's the 1.9TD engine. He's the Caravelle model and a RARE TWIN SLIDING MODELTailgate too which makes for great camping (also, no squeaking unlike the barn doors)5 speed gearbox .Pre 2006 so a fraction of the road TAX bracket £255/year ... you'll appreciate that each year.MOT 5th April 2019.As you'd expect has the extras for this class.Glass with subtle blinds incorporated into doors so simply lift and latch up.Also, windows have that slight tint for extra privacy.Captain seat up front. 1x FOB key.Usual refineries: Power steering, ABS, etcDrives well. Very comfortable. All seats fold flat as they should do.A caravelle that has low mileage! Thought they were all taxis or 250k airport shuttles. Only 130+k. But has had hard life as family vehicle with a dog. Lots of bits chewed. Don't expect a mint van. He's affectionately called 50 shades of Silver but also apt. See photos. But.... still, he's a VW and a caravelle. Great potential. I was thinking of jazzing him up with full vinyl wrap. Now that could be interesting.Owned about a year. As soon as I got him, went into garage and everything checked and sorted. Over £1k and anything that should signs of wear was changed. Full service.Left over was a wheel sensor that would pop on. As one tyre odd size, it was thought this. Not the ABS unit as test equipment showed.New supension stuff added. Could do with the tracking done as sterring wheel has slight angle, now. Few quid would sort. But it's finding the time.No so great points:There is a list of minor things which I'll get around to adding. Just wanted to get onto .But main things:That tracking to do.Passenger side sliding door - common fault end of wire comes loose so needs to wiggle sometimes to seat right and lock. Can be recrimped, but no time.Just noticed that passenger electric window switch doesn't work (Silva at 17 months doesn't use it much) but drivers side works it so just switch to replace.Captain seat arm rest well chewed.Rear wiper needs new blade and plastic cap to cover nut.The temperature control for rear heating has broken inside collar so spins .. you can simply pull off and spin inner bit for heat setting or buy a new one.Oddly, the aerial end that goes into radio has been cut off. So no radio (again couple of quid on for end but lack time) but has mp3 playing USB and 3.5mm Jack for iPod etc.Handbrake button cover missing and handle slightly chewed.Cup holder charger rusty but it does work.LHS sliding door window .. missing the middle opener bits but have new to go on.Middle row seat belts need attention. Those triangle buttons on sliding door that pop up and down to indicate un/lock missing £7 each on .Plastic cover for behind the driver seats base is missing.Buzzer for lights left on not working. Switch inside door??There's chrome front bumper wrap around things thrown in.A new camper side door panel for the sliding door to go in. Worth over £100.New mats.Selling as I bought another T5 LWB with intention of selling this and works van and using the LWB T5 as sole vehicle. NOt looking to trade as I'm downsizing. Unless you have a classic DS :-)Cash on collection or money MUST clear before collection. Carlisle, Cumbria.Any questions text 077-924-614-15I had this transported from south coast to the borders and was just under £300 with Shiply.com(Hula Lady and dash stuff not included)
